Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer who can develop processes for a variety of CNC machines. The successful candidate must have a complete understanding of Numerical Code, Tooling, Fixturing, Material Flows, Part Certifications and GD&T.
Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain shop documentations to include process flow, work instructions change requests, tooling lists, material costs, cycle time studies, tool paths and offsets.
· Use blueprints, specifications, work orders, drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances to develop complete print to start of production parts.
· Develop efficient material flows, new part cost estimates, and procedures for new and current processes.
· Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions through taking measurements, adjusting offsets, and closely monitoring tooling, grinding, grooving, drilling, turning, and cutting.
· Use lean manufacturing principles to drive process improvements and actively track production inefficiencies.
· Maintain a safe work environment.
· Work with machine vendors to schedule integrations and deal with warranty and service issues.
Qualifications:
· At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing as a process engineer in a CNC environment preferred.
· Understanding of SolidWorks, Mastercam and MS Office.
· Programming experience.
· Experience in tooling design and fixture development a plus.
· Experience with Mills and Lathes.
· Experience with CMM’s and other measuring equipment a plus.
