Purpose: Process and Automation Specialist

Our Process and Automation Specialist is responsible for programming our automated controls and supporting the packaging department on equipment-related issues.

Attributes: Communication, Attention to Detail, Organization and Time Management, Ability to multi-task, Safety, Teamwork, Advanced degree in automation or robotics

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and troubleshooting of packaging and production equipment, solutions may require development of new or improved equipment, processes, or techniques.
• Automation and robotic support for multiple packaging lines.
• Works independently and with a team, conferring with supervisor on complex assignments.
• Assists senior process engineering activities and projects in coordination with internal and external partners.
• Identifies and investigates issues and provides solutions to management team.
• Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests, products, and equipment.
• Executes and leads performance improvement activities through OEE.
• Effectively manages small to mid-sized projects to ensure project completion is on-time, on-budget, and on-quality; coordinates project work with other operating units; regularly reports project status.
