Principal Planner - Engineering Firm | Up to £80K DOE | Multiple Locations \n  \nAre you a Principal Planner with experience in DCO, NSIP/S.37, and GIS software? Do you have a background in overhead lines, transmission, or large-scale infrastructure projects? If so, we want to hear from you.

\n  \nLocations: \nEast Yorkshire | Hull | Derby | Tadcaster | Surrey \n  \nAbout the Role: \nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading engineering firm, where you will play a key role in managing planning projects for overhead lines and transmission. You will work closely with engineers, coordinate project teams, and ensure the smooth delivery of complex infrastructure schemes. \n  \nKey Responsibilities: \nLead the planning and development of NSIP/S.37 applications.

\nManage multidisciplinary inputs and ensure successful project submissions. \nOversee project management activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. \nUtilise GIS software to support planning and environmental assessments.

\nWork closely with engineers, stakeholders, and clients to drive project success. \nProvide mentorship and guidance to junior planners. \nWhat We're Looking For: \nExperience with DCO, NSIP/S.37 planning applications.

\nStrong background in overhead lines, transmission, or large-scale infrastructure projects. \nProficiency in GIS software for planning and environmental assessments. \nExcellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex schemes.

\nA relevant degree in Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or similar. \n  \nSalary & Benefits: \nUp to £80,000 DOE plus a competitive benefits package. \n  \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled planner looking to take on a leadership role in a growing team.
