Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy with numerous offices throughout the UK. They are specialists within Civil & Structural engineering and have built an excellent reputation for the work they do in building design. Working on projects from new high-rise towers to major restorations in London.

In response to their growing workload, our client is looking to recruit a Principal level engineer for their Southwest London Office. This role will suit a candidate looking for a new challenge within a fast-paced dynamic company, with exciting projects to help spearhead. Whilst taking responsibility for leading and developing a growing team.

What you’ll be doing?

• Undertaking concept designs and planning projects through to completion
• Leading and managing project teams to deliver a wide range projects
• Lead, manage and mentor a talented team of engineers
• Assisting in recruiting for your team & managing project resources
• Clearly communicate goals and targets to the team
• Regular reporting to the management team
• Expand and develop relations with clients and network
• Develop new business opportunities and introduce new clients

What are we looking for?

• The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Structural Engineer (candidates without will still be considered) who is competent at both technical and managerial level
• They will have a proven track record of successful delivery of projects from concept to detailed design through to completion of construction.
