Principal Safety Engineer - Product Safety Engineering\n\nSalary: up to £70k + overtime\n\nLocation: Coventry - hybrid\n\nOverview - Safety Engineer\n\nThe role will provide the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of safety management and safety case delivery. This includes safety requirements capture and management, hazard identification and analysis.\n\nAll industries considered and have cross transferable into Defence: Aerospace, Automotive, R&D / Test, Oil & Gas, Rail, Maritime, Shipbuilding and so on...\n\nWhat you'll be doing - Safety Engineer\n\nWorking as part of an Integrated Development Team, established to develop and deliver systems /capability\nSupporting Hazard Identification and Analysis studies\nAssisting with or generating safety reports\nLiaising with other Integrated Development Teams and the Whole Boat Safety Team \n\nSkills and experiences - Safety Engineer\n\nAn understanding of 'Safety and Systems Engineering'\nThe ability to be agile in working practices and customer expectations\nSelf-motivated, with good verbal and written communication skills\nKnowledge in ALARP, HAZID or HAZOP\nKnowledge of safety analysis techniques such as Fault / Event Tree Analysis or FMEA \n\nAll successful Safety Engineers will be contacted within 2 days of application
