Principal Process Engineer

WOOD are currently recruiting for Principal Process Engineers on a long term Contract basis working outside IR35 Experience in brownfield Oil & Gas experience to support our current modifications portfolio Detailed services to be provided: • Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and legislation • Ensure that all documentation and drawing deliverables are on time to meet project deadline • Review the process design and delivery of projects within agreed time and budgets • Undertake detailed calculations and simulations to develop the design and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculations The successful candidate will be an integral member of process team, providing process expertise to ensure delivery of projects to tight timescales in accordance with client expectations. The individual will be expected to work largely under their own direction and will report to the contract Lead Process Engineer. Detailed services to be provided: • Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and legislation • Ensure that all documentation and drawing deliverables are on time to meet project deadline • Review the process design and delivery of projects within agreed time and budgets • Undertake detailed calculations and simulations to develop the design and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculations • Maintain equipment process data sheets, sizing and defining major equipment and safeguarding systems • Operating philosophies, commissioning, operating and shutdown procedures • Review progress, communicate concisely and develop sub function team on project • Support process lead in the checking and approval of engineering deliverables • Project scopes range from Concept/Studies, FEED through to Detailed Design The successful candidate will be an integral member of process team, providing process expertise to ensure delivery of projects to tight timescales in accordance with client expectations. MSc, MEng or BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience providing Process Engineering services for brownfield Oil & Gas engineering projects • Chartered Engineer or recognized equivalent
