About the RoleThe Principal Planning & Consolidation role is intended to enable the Global Functions P&A team's delivery in the business planning cycle in a future state to a higher standard with less human resource through: Setting and communicating a clear plan for the delivery of Global Functions Planning (Cost and Revenue),Centrally coordinating the end-to-end delivery of the planning cycle,Identify inefficiencies in our central management systems, structures and tools and drive improvements to deliver a tangible shift in customer NPS,Centralising and coordinating the delivery of key improvement projects across P&R,Managing the integration of the new Prime planning system and ensuring it is fit-for-purpose, and guiding team members through UAT and integration planning.Supporting the integration with GBS Reporting and Analytics to ensure a single team focus and joint process improvements,Support key initiatives as impacts functions from time to time, including transactions, benchmarking and cost optimisation. The role will be accountable for the ultimate deliverables of Cross-function consolidation and reporting needs related to planning, group reporting or CFO/CEO reporting/analysis, and to ensure the effective communication of functions plans and productivity outcomes.This role will support the Manager Planning and Consol in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the global Functions P&R team through supporting projects and change management. About You Skills and requirements: Project ManagementExperience in planning, especially in a Global Functions context.Maximising efficiencies and effectiveness in processes executed in different geographical locations, by separate teamsPrevious experience implementing organisational change, including influencing stakeholders for decision makingFinance, Commerce (other accreditations will be considered). Strong experience in planning and reporting (FP&A type roles).Exposure to BHP planning systems and processes.
