My client, an innovative, world-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their growing team of specialist consultants in the lively, maritime city of Liverpool.\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nHold a Higher Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Environmental Management, Geography, Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant background)\nExtensive commercial experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)\nDemonstrable experience of delivering Water Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and flood risk modelling, within a consultancy-based role\nOutstanding working knowledge of developing Drainage Strategies and drainage design\nAn acute awareness of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and the Approving Body (SAB) in Wales\nExcellent working knowledge of a range of design-based softwares, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks, and other relevant software packages\nFamiliarity with the appropriate Geographical Information Systems (GIS), including ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, etc.\nExcellent working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (namely S104, S106, etc.) \n\nIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following:\n\nPrior experience of providing management support to a range of projects\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAn analytical mindset and strong technical skills\nChartered Status (or actively working toward attaining this) \n\nIn your varied new role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a growing team of consultancy-based experts, with a view to developing and refining your knowledge and skills as you progress through your career.
