Salary: Up to $130,000 DOE

Are you ready to lead the way in shaping the future of fire protection and safety systems? We are searching for a Principal Fire Protection Engineer who is passionate about innovation, leadership, and precision to join our team and play a key role in driving our industry-leading projects forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Take charge of overseeing the design and engineering of custom fire suppression systems that protect lives and property.
• Mentor and manage a team of talented engineers, ensuring projects meet customer specifications, industry standards, and codes like NFPA.
• Participate in pre-bid site walks, detailed cost reviews, and project design review meetings.
• Lead efforts in ISO 9001 audits, maintaining process efficiency and improving design workflows.
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to uphold technical compliance and quality standards.
• Engage in industry events and meetings to stay ahead in fire protection innovation.

What you’ll bring:

• A Bachelor of Science in Engineering with circa 15+ years industry experience.
• 10-15 years of expertise in fire suppression systems and a Professional Engineer license.
• A deep understanding of codes like NFPA 11, 13, 16, and 2001, as well as hydraulic calculation tools like KYPIPE and AutoSPRINK.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and NavisWorks, plus strong communication and leadership skills.
• A mindset for continuous improvement and a passion for safety engineering.
