Principal Field Operations Integration Manager

As Principal Field Operations Integration Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's dedicated online services.All of Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. Our foundation is built upon and managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide.With environmental sustainability and optimization at the forefront of our datacenter design and operations, we continue to grow and evolve as we meet the ever-changing business demands that hold Microsoft as a world-class cloud provider.Be at the forefront of the action in CO+I as part of our global datacenter operations team. You will be our voice and partner with peer groups across multiple organizations to drive excellence in data center design standards, construction, commissioning, utilization, while ensuring seamless onboarding of newly launched facilities into the field operations portfolio. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:At least ten years business management and leadership experience in a production datacenter environment or related experienceDegree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Exceptional ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across groups of various levels and disciplines, such as government entities, senior company leaders, engineers, suppliers, partners, technicians, customers, etc.Experience in leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees, across multiple disciplines and platformsDemonstrated experience delivering results with ambiguous and changing business requirements, with strong ability to work independently in a dynamic and high-pressure environmentBackground in data center design, construction, and infrastructure operations and experience in planning and executing data center transformational programsExperience with design of next generation data center networks enabling cloud computing including technologies such as network virtualization, unified network fabric, and software defined networksA solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecastingAwareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles. (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.)Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, etc.)Background Check Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
