Job Title: Principal Engineer - Electrical Power (LV)

Job Duties:
Lead the design and development of electrical power systems for military and defence projects.
Provide technical expertise in electrical power distribution, , and control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure performance and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practises in electrical power engineering.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
Demonstrable experience in electrical power system design and implementation.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the military and defence sector.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical power system design and implementation.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in electrical power distribution, , and control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience working on defence-related projects.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in Barrow-in-Furness, hybrid 2 days per fortnight on site
Full-time hours are required, with the possibility of overtime during project deadlines.
