Principal Embedded Software Engineer– Southampton - £70k - £80k\n\nHexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world renowned Electronics manufacturer based in Southampton who are now seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to help develop and maintain a brand new system the company is developing.\n\nThe company are recognised globally, and are expanding because of a healthy order book. The company are now seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer with excellent experience leading technical projects as well as working autonomously on new projects.\n\nThis is a Principal Embedded Software role in Southampton focusing on Processor design as well as comm interfaces. Due to the nature of the work, this will be a mostly onsite role.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer science, Embedded Systems, Maths, Physics or similar\n\n * 10+ years commercial Embedded software experience\n\n * Excellent Firmware RTOS experience\n\n * Good commercial Serial Comms experience (RS232, RS422, TCP/IP etc)\n\n * Any experience working on testing embedded code is highly desirable.\n\nThe company are looking to offer circa £80k dependent on experience.
