Are You the Right Fit?\n
We’re looking for someone who is:

- \n
- A Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Electrical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
- Experienced in managing and driving a multi-discipline technical/engineering team, with a proven track record of achieving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into easily understood information for a broader audience.
- Familiar with quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
- Able to meet the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.

Your Responsibilities\n
As our Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will:

- Oversee complex building services engineering projects, collaborating to deliver sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective design solutions from concept to construction.
- Lead a talented team, integrating disciplines and driving innovation on high-value projects.
- Shape design delivery while nurturing team development and building strong client relationships.
- Manage all works delivered through the Electrical team, ensuring coordinated solutions with the Major Projects Mechanical Lead.
- Maintain team utilization levels, quality output, and development standards aligned with industry practices.
- Prepare designs and advice, including feasibility and condition reports, while liaising with other teams for effective delivery.
- Play an active role in business development, supporting bid submissions and attending client meetings to uncover new business opportunities.
- Ensure high-quality multi-disciplinary designs and specifications that meet client requirements, successfully delivering projects on budget and on time.
