Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Battery Systems

Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering a variety of HV and schemes in UK energy market. The are looking to appoint a principal level electrical design engineer with a background in BESS systems on a contract basis in the North West



The successful applicant will be acting in a technical design role, working closely with other engineers to deliver designs on a substantial portfolio of projects.



To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:



* Experienced electrical design engineer with extensive HV experience



* You must have BESS experience



* You must have technical knowledge of protection and control, cable management, and EMC



* Ideally you will be degree qualified in electrical engineering



* You will have experience working in a principal level / design manager level



* Applicants must be autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders



* You must be based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK
