\nSummary:\n
\n
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our commercial HVAC products.This individual must be analytical thinker, self-motivated and able to work independently but must also be able to interface with cross functional teams to support the products.\n

\nJob Duties:\n
\n
\n

  • Develop control systems design and maintainrelated documents.
  • \n

  • DevelopSequence of operation for the HVAC control system
  • \n

  • Developapplications using high-level software tools for prototyping or troubleshooting
  • \n

  • Tests applications and control methods using simulation, emulation and field testing.
  • \n

  • Work with multiple teams like Product Technical Support team, Manufacturing, Quality and Labs for product support and knowledge share.
  • \n

  • Generatetechnical documentation for use within the company and/or with vendors.
  • \n

  • Conducts market research, systems analysis and experimentation to analyze application or operational feasibility and explore alternatives.
  • \n

  • Strives for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
  • \n

Qualifications\n
\n
\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree BSin Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering
  • \n

  • Minimum of 4years of work experience, HVAC
  • \n

  • Programming experience with embedded controls or PLCs is required
  • \n

  • Hardware design, PCB design, developing prototypes experience is a plus
  • \n

  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting control systems and resolving technical issues
  • \n

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • \n

  • Knowledge of NEC, UL, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards
  • \n

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site supportand system installations
  • \n
