Principal Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their team in Exeter. You will be part of the Water Sector Team, providing design expertise in collaboration with major UK water companies. This role involves participating in and leading multidisciplinary design schemes to deliver water sector projects and supporting a group of highly motivated Engineers and Technicians.



Key Responsibilities:



Perform technical or professional work activities to ensure delivery meets client requirements and complies with relevant standards

Collate plans and schedules, monitoring work to meet deadlines, company quality assurance, and other requirements

Liaise and engage with clients and third parties as required

Take a leading role in promoting health, safety, welfare, and sustainability/environmental matters in all areas of work



Job Requirements:



Degree qualified and Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)

Water industry experience

Motivated with a positive attitude

Experience using CAD/Revit with a working knowledge of BIM

Understanding of sustainable practices

Experience with hydraulic calculations
