About the role
I’m currently leading a search for a Primary Design Engineer (Senior or Principal) to join a major contractor who are part of the Grid design framework.
The business is a market leader, a global heavyweight and is exclusively involved in exciting major infrastructure projects for Grid and DNO frameworks. For this particular position, Grid experience and working on primary substation design up to 400kV is .

The Essentials:

Experience: 5+ years of primary design experience, with a strong preference for those who have delivered projects for Grid at 400kV.

Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering

Location: Flexible, depending on experience. However, preference for a Yorkshire base.

Package: £55,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience)
