Do you like working independently, solving problems, and keeping buildings running the way they should? Uptown Rental Properties is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep our communities in great shape and provide a great experience for our .

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll spend most of your day completing preventative maintenance work and helping identify issues before they become bigger problems.

You will:

• Complete preventative maintenance work orders throughout our properties

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, inspections, and general maintenance

• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the best solution

• Keep and property teams updated on the status of work

• Order or pick up materials needed to complete jobs

• Document and update work orders in our maintenance system

• Work with other technicians and outside vendors when additional help is needed

• Properly care for company vehicles, tools, equipment, and other resources

• Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
