Press Machine Operator

Allstate Can, a division of The Ohio Art Company, is in need of a Press Machine Operator. This position will require work on-site 4 days a week with overtime potential on weekends. (Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate press machines according to specifications.

· Adjust settings on the press machine for different materials and products.

· Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly.

· Feed raw materials into machines as required.

· Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machines are in good working order.

· Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the work area is safe.

· Follow lockout/tagout procedures when servicing machines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine operator, with at least 2-3 years experience or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
