Your Key Contributions

• Navigate and accurately interpret complex blueprints for sheet metal fabrication.
• Skillfully operate industry-standard machines for cutting, bending, and forming.
• Undertake precise welding tasks in a myriad of environments and spatial limitations.
• Formulate efficient strategies to reduce waste during the metal shaping process.
• Adapt seamlessly to the diverse, sometimes-confined settings of the work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Completion of high school qualification; additional training in trade or technical schools is a plus.
• Over five years of applicable experience with metal fabrication and welding techniques.
• Competency in mathematics and blueprint evaluation.
• Self-driven with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

ADA Requirements:

Very Heavy Work: Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. The facility is not air conditioned. Incumbents must be able to weld in tight spaces, 18 inch circumference.
• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.

Your Expertise Includes:

• Welding and mechanical troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience creating and executing welding setups for production purposes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and perform precise mechanical assemblies.

Technology You’ll Engage With:

• Proficiently operate MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welders.
