At Cox Manufacturing, a family-owned shop and one of the nation’s largest turning operations, we craft precision small components using patented, innovative technology. Picture your weekend: you step onto the floor of a high-tech, close-knit department where hands-on work and problem-solving drive the day. You operate reliable production machinery, keep a sharp eye on quality, and collaborate with teammates to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll do

  • Run production machines to manufacture precision small parts.
  • Inspect components to verify they meet conformance standards.
  • Partner with a compact weekend team to maintain output and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

What you’ll bring

  • No prior experience required—bring your reliability and willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or GED (or GED equivalent).
  • Commitment to a mandatory 12-hour shift on Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • Ability to complete training at least 3 days per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, for the first 6–12 weeks.

Schedule and training

You’ll train on weekdays (at least three days per week, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM) for 6–12 weeks, then transition to the weekend schedule with a required 12-hour shift on Saturday and/or Sunday.

Rewards and perks

  • Extra $3.00 an hour for 4th shift (Saturday and or Sunday 7 AM - 7:30 PM).
  • Extra $5.00 an hour for 5th shift (Saturday 7 PM- Sunday 7:30 AM).
