Precision Assembly Technician

Teamjobs is looking for Precision Assemblers to join our client in Abingdon.



Main Responsibilities



Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.

Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Lifting may be required generally no more than 30Lbs



**The ideal candidate may also be required to receive training in area of speciality - heat exchangers threading & fabrication process.**



Key Skills:



Steady hands, as the fabrication process is manual.

May require related experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within heat exchangers manufacturing.

Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the duties of the job role.

Working under immediate supervision



Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm



Pay: £14-£18 per hour, depending on experience.
