Job Opening: Pre-Fab Electrician – Lorton, VA
Location: Lorton, VA
Division: New Pre-Fab Project
Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $34.00/hour (Based on experience and certifications)
We are launching a brand-new Pre-Fab Division in Lorton, VA, and we’re hiring a skilled, bilingual Pre-Fab Electrician to lead the charge. This is a hands-on role for someone with on-site electrical experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for mentoring others—from basic electrical knowledge to technical skills.
You’ll be instrumental in creating systems, processes, and training methods for pre-fab electrical work, while keeping the shop running smoothly and organized. This is not just a job—it’s a ground-floor opportunity to help shape a new division.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-fabrication tasks: cut, bend, label, and assemble conduit, panels, boxes, and wiring

Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to build accurate assemblies

Use hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment in a safe, efficient manner

Maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe shop environment

Track time and material usage by project and help optimize production

Ensure all components meet quality standards and relevant codes

Collaborate with project managers, field electricians, and warehouse staff

Mentor junior team members, help build a team and train them from the ground up

Assist in building internal systems and workflows for the new division
Required Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required

Prior on-site electrical experience (commercial/residential/industrial)

Open-minded, coachable, and eager to help grow a new team

Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

Forklift certified (or willing to get certified - we can train)

CAD experience or certification (or willing to learn - we can train)

Basic welding experience or willingness to train is a plus

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shop operations
