Job Description
Type: Permanent, Full-time\n\nWorking hours: 40 hours.\n\nJob Function: To provide on-site engineering support.\n\nMUST BE CAP ACCREDITED \n\nLiaising with: Customers, Operations Manager, Depot Manager.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCarry out planned LOLER inspections for vehicles out on customer sites.\nAttend breakdowns on site, fault diagnosis and correct rectification.\nCorrectly process all jobs on the works handheld tablet to include the allocation of labour and any parts used.\nEnsure optimum van parts stock level is achieved, always maintained and reviewed.\nReport any potential site revisits and customer recharges to the Service Controller.\nProvide back-up support in other areas and depots.\nEnsure company vehicle is kept clean, tidy and maintained as per the manufacturer’s guidelines at all times.\nEnsure that the company’s health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to site operations.\nBe an ambassador for the company, ensuring a polite, friendly and professional manner at all times.\nFollow company’s Employee handbook policies and procedures.\nAny other duties requested by your Manager.\nRequirements:\n\nExperience with mobile or vehicle mounted access platforms maintenance and inspection routines.\nIPAF Competent Assessed Person qualification. (including 1b Operators license)\nRelevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience gained within the plant rental sector.\nExperience in auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics/fault finding.\nAbility to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.\nGood interpersonal skills and an acute understanding good customer service.\nExcellent benefits package on offer
