Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Engineer to join our enterprise technology team at a leading Fortune 100 health insurance company. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents) to drive digital transformation across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate business processes, enhance data insights, and improve operational efficiency in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
* Automate complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps.
* Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
* Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party APIs.
* Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable, adhering to healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and deliver user-centric solutions.
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices to junior developers and developers.
* Monitor and optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
* Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates and industry trends to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in software development or enterprise application engineering.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
* Strong understanding of Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure Functions, and custom connectors.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ALM for Power Platform, and DevOps tools.
* Familiarity with healthcare data standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
* Proficient in JavaScript, Power Fx, C#, or TypeScript is a plus.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, or PL-900.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Background in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries.
