Power Electronics Engineer – High-Power DC/DC Systems


An innovative and rapidly growing engineering company is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join its R&D team. You'll help develop next- high-power DC/DC converters (2–10kW+) used in cutting-edge electrification systems across clean energy and mobility sectors.


Key Responsibilities as the Power Electronics Engineer;

  • Design and develop high-power DC/DC converters from concept to manufacturing release.
  • Support the Lead Electronics Engineer in resource planning, budget tracking, and project delivery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies.
  • Collaborate with mechanical teams to address thermal design requirements.
  • Produce technical documentation: test plans, validation reports, and more.
  • Drive the design process from schematics through to certification and release.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Background in engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with high-power DC/DC or AC/DC converters – especially buck/boost topologies.
  • Familiarity with Li-Ion or lead-acid battery systems and battery integration.
  • Proficient in circuit simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, MATLAB, Simetrix).
  • Skilled in electronic CAD tools – Altium Designer .
  • Solid understanding of thermal management in electronics.
  • Strong mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on engineering.
