About the Role

This role involves hands-on design, development, and validation of advanced power electronics circuits for applications in electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage, and industrial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test PCB-based power drivers, converters, inverters, and solid-state circuit breakers according to technical and customer requirements.
  • Characterize discrete and module-level power devices and generate datasheets and performance comparisons.
  • Support application engineering teams to interface effectively with customers and partners.
  • Develop validation and prototype test plans for power electronics circuits.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation, including whitepapers and external-facing technical materials.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering technicians and junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Power Electronics with 3+ years of industry experience

Required Skills

  • Expertise in DC/AC converter, inverter, solid-state circuit breaker, and gate driver design.
  • Strong proficiency in power electronics analysis, circuit simulation, PCB design, and lab testing.
  • Working knowledge of power device physics (IGBT, SiC, BJT, MOSFET, FRD).
  • Familiarity with microcontroller coding and embedded systems.
  • Software proficiency in Altium, SPICE, C++, or Python.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
