Job DescriptionJob Description

The Power Platform Developer supports the design, development, and maintenance of business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role works closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to deliver scalable, low-code solutions that improve business efficiency and data visibility.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and data connectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualification(s):

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-400).
  • Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint integration, or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Automate business processes using Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Test, deploy, and document solutions.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
  • Stay updated on Power Platform features and best practices.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • May mentor interns or assist peers with technical challenges.
  • Expected to take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience and Skills:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Power Apps
  • Experience integrating Power Apps with external systems.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
