Power Applications Developer** (Contract)\n\nDuration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)\n\nLocation: London/Hybrid (2 days on site)\n\nRate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates\n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are looking for a skilled Power Applications Developer to design and implement a comprehensive workflow tool within a six-month timeframe. This tool will capture email traffic, produce actionable work queues and dashboards, and generate ad hoc Power BI reports from Snowflake data tables. You will also integrate defect management and remediation capabilities for user owners/operators, ensuring compliance with development standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nWorkflow Tool Development: Architect and develop a robust tool to capture email traffic and translate it into actionable work queues and dashboards.\nDefect Management and Remediation: Implement a system within the workflow tool for user owners/operators to identify, track, and remediate issues.\nData Integration: Design and implement integration with Snowflake data tables for generating ad hoc Power BI reports.\nCompliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to companies established development standards and compliance requirements.\nDashboard Creation: Develop insightful dashboards for real-time visibility into workflow processes and performance indicators.\nCollaboration: Work closely with the Transformation Portfolio Manager and stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.\nTechnical Leadership: Provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and support.\nDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, design decisions, and development processes.\nQuality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing and quality assurance practices to ensure tool reliability and performance.
\n\nSkills and Experience:\n\nHighly skilled in interpreting business requirements and translating them into operational capabilities.\nProficient in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.\nProven experience in workflow tool development as a Power Applications Architect or similar role.\nFamiliarity with email traffic analysis, dashboard creation, and defect management systems.\nStrong expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, and data integration techniques.\nExperience integrating Power Platform tools with Microsoft services like Azure, Dynamics 365, and Office 365.\nExcellent understanding of corporate compliance and development standards.\nStrong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience with cloud services and platforms, particularly Azure.\nFamiliarity with API development and integration.\nAbility to create custom applications using canvas and model-driven apps.\nUnderstanding of app design principles and integration with other services.\nSkilled in automating workflows, creating flows, and integrating with various data sources.\nProficient in data visualization, report creation, dashboard development, and data modeling using DAX. \n\nCandidates will need to show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered. \n\nIf you feel you have the skills and experience and want to hear more about this role 'apply now' to declare your interest in this opportunity with our client.
