Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest.
DTG Recycle is seeking a Portable Sanitation Service Technician. DTG Recycle provides complete, vertically integrated customer service starting from debris collection and transportation through material recovery and on to reuse, recycle and/or creation of value-added products. By using the latest technology, we provide complete, timely and thorough documentation of the complete collection and recycling process. Our Route Driver ensures the quality standards that set us apart from our competition. You will drive to customer sites to pump, clean and service our portable restroom equipment. All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check prior to starting work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
- This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, reaching, and bending while servicing portable toilets.
- The routine day consists of approximately 30% driving and 70% servicing portable toilets at designated locations.
- Able to work flexible hours, days, and occasional weekends.
- Customer Service and Teamwork.
- After three months on the job and training, you will know you are successful if:
- You drive and complete your route provided on your tablet.
- You can property service a unit in 5 minutes or less.
- You communicate with your supervisor/dispatch to resolve issues.
Work Environment:
- Employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical equipment/parts, and fumes or airborne particles.
- Noise level is sometimes high.
Qualifications:
- CDL Class B .
- Clean driving record and pass the required DOT physical and drug screen.
- Ability to lift 50-150 pounds throughout the day.
- The ideal candidate will have one or more years in a service-related role with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
