Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring all pools are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pool systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide outstanding service to both property owners and team members.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine pool cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Test and balance pool water chemistry; safely handle and apply chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, motors, heaters, and filtration systems

  • Carry out regular tasks such as vacuuming, backwashing filters, emptying baskets, debris removal, and tile cleaning

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas, including the company vehicle

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and departmental policies

  • Foster positive working relationships with team members, vendors, and property owners

  • Attend scheduled meetings, contribute suggestions for improvement, and support other duties as assigned by leadership



Qualifications:



  • Experience with pool maintenance and/or equipment repair

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) designation required (may be obtained after hire)

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Strong integrity, reliability, and work ethic

  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse team members and clients

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Professional appearance in compliance with company standards



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.

  • Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, balance, reach, and walk/stand for extended periods.

  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, heat, rain, wind, and cold).
