As a pool construction worker at Blue Pools & Spa LLC, you will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing construction sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials (concrete, pipes, pool components, etc.), tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Provide hands-on assistance to the construction team in various tasks such as assembling pool components, installing plumbing systems, forming and pouring concrete, and finishing with materials like tiling, coping or plastering.
- Operate hand tools and power equipment, under supervision and following all safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other subcontractors, to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Perform general manual labor tasks as needed, such as shoveling, mixing materials, and cleaning tools and equipment.
Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, or general labor is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials. Experience with concrete work, masonry, or plumbing is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, sun). Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs (potentially more with assistance).
- Reliability: Consistent work attendance is a must.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work/job sites.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
