About the Role:

The part-time Pool and Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in maintaining the safe operation of indoor and outdoor pools as well as general maintenance of one of our residential communities in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The technician will manage water testing and balancing, pool cleaning and vacuuming, maintenance of pool deck furniture and trash removal. Additionally, the technician will perform general maintenance tasks for the property.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid pool operator certification or willingness to be trained.
• Basic knowledge of pool chemistry and mechanical systems or willingness to learn.
• Experience in general property maintenance or a related field.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in property management or real estate maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, skimming, and monitoring water quality.
• Test and adjust pool chemical levels to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine property maintenance duties including minor repairs, landscaping support, and general upkeep of common areas.
