Job description:
Louisiana Pond Management is a small, fast-growing company currently entertaining resumes for a field biologist in pond management. This position requires many different levels of work in all kinds of weather. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter, with a willingness to learn & grow. Biological knowledge, people skills, mechanical work, communications/writing and continuing education are required. This is a full-time position for the season, with potential for a permanent position with health insurance & an employer-matched IRA.

Document treatments & management activities

Basic computer skills
You will be required to:
Learn equipment information for sales & installation
Monitor Google docs/sheets for tasks & scheduling
Write and turn in job tickets to office staff in a timely and organized manner.
Inventory assistance warehouse
You will be required to learn to:
Communicate effectively & professionally with customers (conversation control, educating, listening, presenting).
Maintain trucks, trailers, batteries, boat motor, & equipment
Pull/hook up trailer, back up a trailer
Identify aquatic plants
Study & apply herbicide label information
Apply herbicides effectively & safely
Become certified in pesticide application
Assembly, installation & repair of aeration systems, including fountains & diffused aeration
