Reporting to the Technical Director, as Maintenance Technician you will execute, identify, collaborate on maintenance solutions for a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ability of replacement and repair of mechanical, electrical, and Pneumatic components
- Install, startup and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment.
- Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Required 1-3 years of maintenance/mechanical experience.
- High school, GED, or equivalent education. Trade or vocational school education is .
- Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is .
- Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical components such as (but not limited to) VFD’s motor starters, temperature sensor.
- Pneumatics & Hydraulic experience
- Ability to read and understand technical equipment/manuals
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
- Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).
