Job Title: Platform Responsible Engineer – Handheld Products

Contract Type: Fixed-term assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical components and subsystems with a focus on plastic and light metal constructions

• Coordinate functions and drive tasks using deep product knowledge

• Collaborate closely with internal departments, global procurement, and manufacturing units

• Ensure complete technical documentation and lead work from start to finish

• Utilize resources such as materials lab, verification lab, prototype workshop, and CAE department

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical product development

• Strong communication, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills

• Enjoys technical challenges and inspires colleagues through collaboration

• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in leadership roles

• Familiarity with mold tools, plastics, and light metals

• Proficiency in CATIA V5 CAD software

• Knowledge of dynamic systems, kinematics, electronic integration, and mechatronics

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and combustion engines

Languages: Swedish and English
