Join Our Team!We’re currently looking for a Temporary Plater to support our team. This is a high-priority role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. If you have experience in chemical processing or plating, we’d love to hear from you!What You’ll DoAs a Plater, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of chemical processing lines, including Citric and Nitric Passivation, Chromate, and Zinc-Nickel plating. You'll work closely with a team to ensure our products meet exact quality and safety standards.
Key Plater Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment
- Set up and maintain plating lines and equipment
- Load/unload parts using baskets, barrels, and racks
- Perform chemical treatments and ensure proper rinsing and drying
- Inspect parts pre-, in-, and post-processing to ensure conformance
- Follow detailed method sheets and record all data accurately
- Adjust chemical processing parameters within allowable limits
- Maintain and clean work area, equipment, and tools
- Handle chemical adds under supervision of solution analysis personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Complete paperwork and maintain part traceability
What We're Looking For
- Experience in plating or chemical processing
- Ability to read, write, and interpret English instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to operate a forklift and hoist (training/certification a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Support utility duties and team needs as required
