Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
• Coordinate production, sometimes monitoring multiple production lines at once
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
• Perform and/or assists in mold, insert and changes on the line.
• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Adjust operations, machines, and equipment as needed to correct quality and production issues.
• Perform tasks and responsibilities of any Utility position during slow periods and/or as needed.
• Monitor resin, material handling, and systems for appropriate processing conditions.
• Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.
• Perform minor adjustments and routine maintenance; assist as needed with preventative maintenance and major repair work
• Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
• Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
• Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance
• Verify material usage per standards
• Operate equipment to minimize the and maximize the consumption of regrind, purge, and scrap within customer specifications where applicable.
• Properly identify regrind and chunk produced.
• Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift.
• Assist other operators as needed,

Shifts Available

• 2nd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 3:00pm-11:00pm
• 3rd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 11:00pm -7:00am

Who Should Apply?

• Anyone interested in a career path that can include higher levels of Machine Operator, Maintenance, Process Tech roles for good performers
• Anyone interested CKS Packaging will providing them paid training
• Anyone interested in a steady schedule, stable company
• Experienced Extrusion Molding Machine Operators
• Experienced Blow Mold Operators (including PET or HDPE resin, Bekum, Fisher, Uniloy, Aoki, Sidel, 1Blo, Flex Blow, Sipa and/or Rocheleau machinery) is a plus, but not required
