Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong background in printing to lead our label manufacturing operations. This role requires deep knowledge of printing processes combined with proven leadership and operational expertise. The successful candidate will ensure that our plant consistently delivers top-quality labels while meeting production goals and driving efficiency.

Role Summary

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all production operations, including press operations, finishing, quality, and scheduling. This role balances strategy and hands-on execution while driving results in safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

·      Lead and coordinate daily plant operations to ensure quality, timely, and efficient production

·      Coach and develop team members across production and support functions

·      Champion safety and compliance

·      Track and improve performance metrics including productivity, waste reduction, on-time delivery, and efficiency

·      Collaborate across sales, supply chain, and customer service to align production with client needs

·      Manage budgets and resources while making daily operational decisions

·      Drive continuous improvement and process innovation

·      Adapt and contribute across functions in a small-company environment

Qualifications

·      Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in label printing, packaging, or manufacturing

·      Knowledge of printing and finishing equipment (flexographic, digital, or related)

·      Strong skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and process optimization

·      Effective communicator and collaborator across teams

·      Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives

·      Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
