ACAL Precision Products is a CNC machine shop specializing in prototype and short-run production work for industries such as automotive and defense. With a small, dedicated team of about 12 people, we take pride in our craftsmanship, communication, and teamwork. Everyone here contributes in multiple ways to keep our operation efficient and responsive.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Managerto oversee and coordinate all shop activities from job release through completion. This is a non-machining leadership role focused on scheduling, workflow organization, and communication to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize daily shop schedules across multiple machines

Track jobs from start to finish, ensuring delivery dates are met

Communicate job priorities and expectations to operators

Verify that materials, tooling, and fixtures are available and staged in advance

Monitor progress, address bottlenecks, and adjust workflow as needed
-
Participate in weekly management meetings to report on job status and production needs

Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and quality teams

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience as a shop foreman, production controller, or manufacturing supervisor

Strong understanding of CNC machining and prototype production flow

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing needs
