Position Overview

Carole Fabrics is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of our Augusta facility. This role requires a strategic thinker and servant leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is both analytical and action-oriented, capable of inspiring teams, solving complex problems, and driving operational excellence. What you'll do

  • Lead and manage plant operations across production, maintenance, and quality functions.
  • \n

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development to production managers and supervisors.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed manufacturing goals.
  • \n

  • Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and profitability plans.
  • \n

  • Monitor and enhance plant performance metrics for production and quality.
  • \n

  • Implement systems to control costs related to labor, equipment, and materials.
  • \n

  • Promote a culture of cleanliness, organization, and safety on the shop floor.
  • \n

  • Maintain and upgrade plant facilities and equipment as needed.
  • \n

  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • \n

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • \n

  • Proven experience in textile manufacturing, particularly cut-and-sew operations
  • \n

  • Background in window coverings is highly desirable
  • \n

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and ISO standards
  • \n

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of fabrics and textile processes
  • \n

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • \n

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
  • \n
