Our client is currently seeking a results driven Plant Manager to coordinate and direct all plant activities, ensuring efficient and profitable production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Developing and implementing production schedules and strategies to maximize output and efficiency.
· Monitoring production processes and identifying areas for improvement.
· Ensuring optimal utilization of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
· Guiding and motivating a team of supervisors and production workers.
· Hiring and training new staff members.
· Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
· Developing and enforcing existing UTF safety policies and procedures.
· Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
· Conducting safety training and promoting a culture of safety.
· Developing and managing the plant's budget.
· Controlling costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
· Ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
· Implementing preventative maintenance programs as required.
· Preparing and analyzing production and performance reports.
· Reporting to senior management on plant operations and performance.
· Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
· Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve plant operations and efficiency.
· Staying up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
· Previous management experience in a manufacturing setting required.
· Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes .
· Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of employees.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures.
· Ability to identify and solve complex problems related to production, safety, and quality.
· Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
· Understanding of budgeting and cost management principles.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
· You must possess a valid driver's license. Periodic travel may be required.
