The Plant Manager will oversee all operational aspects of our Salisbury facility, leading cross-functional teams to drive results in safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. This individual will also be responsible for managing the manufacturing department, production planning, financial performance, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily plant and manufacturing department operations, including welding, fabrication, painting, installation and many more.
  • Champion a safety-first culture across the plant.
  • Coach, develop, and manage direct reports to drive accountability and high performance.
  • Maintain full financial responsibility for plant operations including development of annual operating plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee production planning, tracking throughput to meet customer delivery requirements and quality standards.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels and staffing based on current demand and forecasted needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure delivery commitments and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and corporate standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field ().
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, safety, and quality systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in waste equipment or heavy-duty manufacturing a plus.
