About the Role:
The Plant Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of manufacturing equipment within the facility. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery and systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The technician will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly, ensuring that production schedules are met without interruption. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the technician's efforts will directly impact the overall performance and safety of the manufacturing operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Qualifications:
- Technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related discipline.
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automated systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
