As part of the senior leadership team, you'll report to the Plant Manager, and develop and implement overall plant technical strategies focused on engineering capital projects targeting projects that include wastewater, utilities and ammonia.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a 1 to 5 year capital plan together with various functions such as Safety, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Finance.
- Lead capital projects that improve wastewater management, utilities and ammonia and oversee utilities to support safety, quality, sanitation, cost, and service objectives.
- Provide engineering thought leadership in the fields of automation and production design – think creatively and proactively.
- Support the Plant in providing project and technical support to the plant and division.
- Manage the Utilities team and ensure functionality and compliance within plant utilities processes such as: Refrigeration, Ammonia, Nitrogen, Steam, Natural Gas and Compressed Air.
- Partner with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, sanitation, labor relations, cost, and customer service through cross‐functional project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3 + years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry such as food, pharmaceuticals, petrochemical or chemical.
- Capital Project management experience with any or all of the following: utilities, wastewater and/or ammonia is required.
