What you will do:

• Lead engineering and maintenance efforts for a new food manufacturing facility through startup and into full production
• Build preventive maintenance programs, technical systems, and infrastructure from the ground up
• Oversee utilities including refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, water, and wastewater systems
• Manage capital projects for equipment installation, upgrades, and automation
• Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and OSHA standards
• Troubleshoot issues and partner with operations to improve uptime, efficiency, and quality
• Support early-stage activities such as commissioning, system reviews, and contractor/vendor coordination

What you will need to be successful:

• 10+ years of plant engineering or maintenance leadership in food, beverage, or related manufacturing
• Experience with controls, automation systems (Allen Bradley), and plant utilities
• Proven track record managing capital projects and equipment installations
• Hands-on background with production equipment and facility systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to guide teams through complex transitions
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
