We are a dynamic and progressive company committed to producing high-quality products through the implementation of continuous improvement strategies and innovative processes.The Position:The role of the Plant Engineer is responsible for the planning, scoping, budgeting, and co-ordinating of assigned and approved capital projects. The Plant Engineer plays a critical role in plant improvement projects to ensure that safety, quality, and cost efficiencies are achieved, measured and maintained within budget.Key responsibilities:Delivery of projects on time, within budget and to specificationAssist in New Product Development Projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to specificationPositively contribute to a continued reduction in operating costs through the timely delivery of agreed improvement projectsUtilize drawing skills to create, edit, and interpret design schematics for project implementationPositively contribute to a continued reduction in injury frequency rates through the timely delivery of agreed safety improvement activities.Liaise with contractors to support and coordinate elements of approved major capital worksResponsible for the planning, scoping, budgeting, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projectsResponsible for determining project specifications and acquiring the necessary materials, plant, and equipment for completionMonitor compliance to applicable standards, codes, practices, and specificationsTo be successful you will have:Excellent leadership and communication skillsComplex troubleshooting and problem solvingProficiency in creating, editing, and interpreting design schematicsGood negotiation skillsExperience in analysing systems for improvementExcellent technical knowledgeGood team-working skillsAbility to manage projects effectivelyAbility to adapt to changing circumstancesAbility to cost projects and ensure budgets are metHigh level of CAD Ability.If you are looking for a role in a growing organisation where you can apply your skills to make a difference, then apply now.We pride ourselves on our vision, values and qualityOur staff makes the differenceAll applications must be made through the following website:
