Plant Electrical Engineer in Georgetown

Location: Georgetown, KY - Onsite
10% travel (would be ready to travel internationally to Canada and Mexico.)
Will be working on multiple projects.
Description:
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget
- Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes
- Evaluate electrical power systems
- Evaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and codes
- Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors
- Evaluate Power distribution/breaker size/Amp draw/SCCR/Panel Loading
- Specify/Confirm electrical components for industrial equipment
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
- Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment
- Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers
- Develop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion
Required experience/skill:
- BS In Engineering, Technical Trader Certification or equivalent experience
- 3+ years manufacturing environment
- 3+ years project management
- Microsoft Office Software proficient
- Bid Spec development, Contractor negotiation
- 2+ years Technical Drawing experience
- 2+ years Industrial Power Distribution/System Design

- BSEE
- Project management experience
- Automotive paint process experience
- AutoCAD proficient
- Ability to understand and calculate utility cost
- Understanding of PLC operation & programming (Toyopuc, Omron, Allen-Bradley)
- Understanding of PLC communication (FLNet, EtherNet)
- Understanding of OT/IT networking
- NFPA 70E/77
