Planning & Resource Manager

Edinburgh (2 days a week on site)

6 Months FTC - Potential to Extend

Up to £80k

This role is looking for a highly organised and experienced planning professional.

You'll be working on a major transformation programme, helping to bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving and complex environment.

You’ll take the lead in setting up strong planning and resource management processes. You’ll deliver accurate forecasts, insightful reports, and clear management information that supports decision-making across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning and developing the programme plan across multiple workstreams
• Tracking dependencies, milestones, and critical paths with precision
• Implementing and optimising planning tools such as MS Project, Clarity, or Planview
• Collaborating across the PMO and transformation teams to shape a newly established planning ecosystem

What We’re Looking For:

• Exceptional Project Planning experience of a similar level
• Strong experience in Financial Services
• Fluent in planning frameworks, governance, tooling, and MI reporting
• Excellent stakeholder and third-party engagement experience (Forums, SteerCos, etc.)
• Analytical thinker with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
