PLANNING ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports including earned value analysis (EVA) S-curve and productivity metrics.
• Develop and manage baseline schedules recovery plans and revised programs as required.
• Review contractor schedules and monitor their compliance with the baseline.
• Interface with project managers consultants and contractors to ensure coordination and alignment with project timelines.
• Identify schedule impacts due to variations delays or other changes and provide mitigation strategies.
• Assist in preparing delay analysis reports and extension of time (EOT) claims.
• Conduct risk analysis and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedule.
• Participate in progress meetings and present planning updates to stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of total experience with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience working with consultancy firms in the GCC on infrastructure building or mixed-use projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of project controls scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM).
• Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Must be currently in the UAE and available to join immediately.
